Air Conditioner Service Check List

Our 27 Point AC/HEAT PUMP Service Check is one of the most extensive in the business. Our technician will perform the following:

1. Clean or replace filters (standard 1" filters)
2. Indoor condition
3. Inspect blower wheel, lubricate motor as necessary
4. Check condensate line drainage
5. Inspect indoor coil if accessible
6. Visually check for refrigerant leaks
7. Check/clean thermostat and test operation
8. Check metering device if accessible
9. Return air temperature
10. Supply air temperature
11. Temperature difference
12. Refrigerant type (R22, R410a)
13. Outdoor condition
14. Check disconnect box/wire size/tighten connections
15. Inspect fan bearings/lube as necessary
16. Check service valves
17. Check operation of the crankcase heater
18. Check capacitors and start components
19. Check contactor voltage drop
20. Check compressor and fan motor amperage
21. Suction line temperature
22. Suction pressure
23. Superheat
24. Air entering outdoor coil
25. Discharge pressure
26. Subcooling
27. Inspect condenser coil
